STEM Sprouts teaches children ages 10-15 through hands-on coding, engineering, robotics, and design experiences that connect directly to how real tools and systems work. We care about practical skills, confident problem-solving, and giving students a learning environment that feels creative, welcoming, and fully in English.
Who we are
At STEM Sprouts, we believe kids learn best by building, creating, and solving real problems, not by simply clicking and dragging pre-made blocks on a screen.
Many beginner coding programs rely on visual drag-and-drop tools where students snap together pieces of code like puzzle blocks. While these can be a fun introduction, they often limit how deeply students understand what is actually happening behind the scenes, and those skills do not easily transfer to real programming environments.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed by a professor from the University of Washington, ensuring that every lesson is grounded in real-world knowledge and meaningful application. Instead of relying on simplified tools or niche scripting languages, we guide students toward learning how real code works, just like the kind used by developers in the real world.
Our programs are taught by native English-speaking instructors who are highly experienced in their fields, allowing students to learn in a clear, engaging, and professional environment.
